I’ve lost count of the number of times I’ve photographed this family.  Since I first met them about 2 years ago we have become good friends, which makes their sessions more fun each time.  The purpose of our last session was to replace the 24×36 canvas above their fireplace. The current picture they have was taken before Ethan was around, so it’s time to include the little guy in the family portrait! Here is the chosen image as well as some other favorites from the session:

  • Nicole - These pictures are absolutely gorgeous! Everyone looks so natural and in their element. You have a great eye Mali!

  • noel - I love these shots mali! Wow, the door shot is fabulous, your use of color, and wind, and lighting makes this image over the top amazing! well done.

  • Yuli - These are amazing, love them! The new family portrait is awesome!

  • Jackie - I love all our sessions, but this one was really special. The new canvas is truly a work of art that brings the whole room to life. We are so fortunate to have you capture so many special moments in our life and will cherish them forever.

  • Araxi - Mali these are just beautiful!! The light in the second one down is just gorgeous and you worked it! Well done!

A couple of months ago I did a maternity session for a very cool family. Here’s an image from that session:

So last week they called again announcing the birth of their beautiful baby girl.  One of the reasons I love newborn sessions is because I get to make images that would be completely impossible to make if we waited a few more days.  A 1 month old baby looks so different than she was at 1 week!  And those first 4 weeks go by so fast…most of the time parents are in a daze from sleepless nights and all the demands of a brand new baby.  Anyway, here is Faith just a few days after she joined her family:

Too sweet and cuddly!! I feel like holding her every time I see these images 🙂

  • noel - LOVE that look on the baby’s face! Such sweet pics mali! Great work.

  • Yuli Wright - Love these!

  • Adrienne Gunde - These are so precious! I especially love that second one with the adorable squishy face!

Here are some more of my favorites with this super fun family.  These kids remind me so much of my own kids, in the way that they seem to turn every simple mundane moment into PURE JOY!!

For whatever reason, some people are just blessed over and over. This is the third time around for Jen and Jason. I’m so proud to show you these images of their new baby girl, Izzy, at 1 month:

Thank you Jen for having me document this special moment in your family’s life!

  • Brian - What adorable pictures!! Very cool!

  • Adrienne Gunde - So cute! That last shot is beyond adorable! Love the new blog btw! 🙂

  • Noel - The feet pic is adorable!! Love the bouncing on the bed shot too! What a great picture in the ivy…. it is beautiful.

  • Yuli Wright - Love these!! And the little models, they are all so cute. Baby Izzy wearing that tutu is just adorable. And the twins looking for rollie pollies? Too cute.

I’m so glad I finally have a blog where I can post large images. Certain things in life just fall in the category  “Bigger is better”. Pictures is definitely one of them! Or maybe it’s just the narcissistic personality in me wanting to see my images as large as I can 🙂 .  Anyway, the new blog is here and nothing better to get it started than some images of my adored little nice who’s about to turn two.
