A while ago I photographed this gorgeous lady in Las Vegas. This summer I got to meet her little girl just in time for her first birthday. We braved the 118-degree weather for a short outdoor session, and it was so worth it! Talking to Kristin is inspiring. She is so passionate about life and the future of our children. Check out her work at Our Little Humans.
The universe keeps sending me the most wonderful families, who are ready to document their bond and what makes them who they are. This family is everything you think of when you hear: Love, patience, connection, and beauty. Working with them was such a joy!
I’m not surprised this scenery attracts so many families. There’s nothing like being around the people you love the most, surrounded by nature and inspiring light.
“Do you like jeeping in the desert?” They asked. “I have no idea… but I really want to find out!” I replied.
So we went. And through some crazy wind, hiking in the wrong shoes, and helping an up-side-down jeep get back on it’s wheels, we had a really fun adventure!
I’m so thankful for clients who make me “shoot outside the box” 🙂
It’s their family tradition to have portraits done at age 3. I’m thankfulI can contribute to this beautiful tradition!
Just for fun, I started a personal project on Children and their Pets. It will be an on-going project for a few months and I’ll be posting a few from each session.
Meet Laney and Dexter.
Here in Southern California we get the most amazing light this time of the year. Here’s my most recent winter family portrait session, featuring the talented Ray from Royal Willow Photography . What a pleasure to spend time with this wonderful family!
